Garrett's highly acclaimed surgeon.......is moving to TX. The day after Garretts surgery. He cannot ethically perform the surgery if he is not available for post-op care.
We cannot move the surgery date in to a sooner date........since he needs 3 months to heal from the adnoids being removed......and July 14th would be exactly 3months.
We will probably not travel to TX to have him do the surgery as his practice will not be set up till October. Although I am going to check Insurance on this option tomorrow.
We can use the other surgeons at Childrens........but none of them come close to the experience, the know-how or the level of confidence he supplies.
HUGE DECISIONS~!!
This is the most life threatening surgery Garrett will have to date. With the lowest success rate. Repeating this surgery is a big deal - An unsuccessful surgery can cost him his life.
Please pray that the right choice is made.
