Please Pray
For a very special cousin of ours. Her health is giving her a world of hurt and we pray that she is healed and comfortable.

My uncle passed from earth unto heaven. I did not know him very well. But I know he loved us in his own special way. Rest In Peace sir

Neighbors Brunch
Every year we start spring of by inviting over our neighbors. Crazy how all winter we barely see them even though they are so close. It also happened to be Pi day ;)

New Years Eve celebration
With such a hectic week, we opt'd to not host our neighbors this year but to keep a quiet small family night. At Garrett's request I served a 6 course meal. Here was his menu selections:
- Tomato soup
- Cranberry/orange relish
- shrimp cocktail (for Daddy)
- pizza rolls
- ribs & twice baked potatoes
- individual angel food cakes :-)
We had so much fun being silly "elegant" and watching movies and the ball drop at midnight (ok 11pm pretending we were in NYC!)

Thanksgiving 2014
As always, I have too much fun once the guests arrive that I forget to take pictures of the party itself!
But I love all the crafts that my children (grandchildren) make with Besta each year. This year even the men helped with cutting the wood for the banners and the centerpiece.
It was a strange Thanksgiving, folks were missing for mourning family losses, medical ailments, and new births. Each and everyone absent was missed greatly, but the rest of us (25 this year) held up the fun family fort!

Happy 70th Mom
It was a spectacular testimony to my mother's love and dedication for 70 years to everyone she knows.
This is the slideshow that Aley put together for the party
