But it requires your floor to be a lot more level than we were ever able to get this floor (without violating the integrity of the intended slope of the basement towards the drain).
So PLAN B. Call around all my contacts and find a damaged carpet roll..... Installed with a high-end pad...... less than the laminate flooring! And IKEA took back all (even the opened) planks just as long as they were not cut.
It really is nice and clean and comfy!
