It was my first time. I was selected, heard opening statement (plaintiffs only) and then they called a mistrial.
It was an experience to say the least.
It was a very tragic case and so much more stressful than I could have ever imagined.
I have a new found respect for judges and our judicial system.
But I am so thrilled to not be stuck in that little juror box for the rest of the year!!!
Keep me, God, for in You I take refuge.
